The launch of Correctbook in Rwanda

March 25, the big day of the Correctbook launch event in Rwanda. The purpose of this event was to introduce potential partners to Correctbook and look for future collaborations in this country; Introducing Correctbook!

The entire Correctbook Africa Team was present. Ezekiel presented the introduction of Correctbook after Justin from World Vision opened the event with a prayer. As one image says more than 1.000 words, it was high time to show the Correctbook documentary to everyone after Ezekiel’s presentation

After the documentary, our existing partners and a teacher, parent, student and principal shared their experiences. This was followed by short speeches from Samuel, World Vision, the mayor of the Gakinjiro district and of course Sam. This gave everyone a good impression of who we are and (more importantly) what we do.

The thing that made this event extra special was that we could host it using and communicating our new corporate identity. The beautiful colourful new shirts really stood out! We wrapped up the event with a relaxed lunch, chatting with everyone in the room. A nice mix of current partners, potential partners, and contacts from the government.

Two months later… Everyone was very enthusiastic during the event and that’s why we try to follow up as quickly as possible. After all, we are and will remain Rotterdammers; actions speak louder than words. The status? Save The Children is interested in a so-called storybook; a storybook where children can copy the pictures. So, great things ahead!
